The Queen Elizabeth Academy is seeking a fixed term Teaching Assistant to work as part of a team. The role supports pupils' learning and contributes to classroom management.

Responsibilities

  • Work under guidance of teaching/senior staff to support pupils' learning.
  • Assist teachers in classroom management and student support.
  • Carry out work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning.
  • Work in classroom or elsewhere under teaching staff guidance.

Qualifications

  • Maths and English GCSE grade C or 4 or above.
  • Previous experience of working with children.
  • Good organisational, time‑management and multi‑tasking skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
