We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational Head of Year to ensure a strong behaviour and attendance culture in the year group by promoting the academy way and delivering a pastoral curriculum which teaches students the values and expectations of the academy.
Key responsibilities
- Work with the Senior Leadership Team, SEND, external agencies, parents/carers and students through a collaborative inclusion approach.
- Promote an inclusive and safe environment where all students feel part of the academy community.
- Organise and manage working time effectively to meet all post requirements punctually and to a high standard.
Qualifications and experience
- Ambitious professional with strong organisational skills.
- Experience in pastoral leadership within an educational setting is desirable.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS criminal record check and online searches in line with KCSIE update 2025.
- Open to flexible working arrangements.
