About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher to join our forward thinking, modern school. The position includes Head of House/Year pastoral responsibilities. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and be supported by the teaching and learning team including Lead Practitioners and a strong SLT.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering lessons across core subjects, with a preference for PE, Drama, Science, and IT
- Providing high quality pastoral care as Head of House/Year
- Delivering an ambitious, knowledge‑rich curriculum and consistently challenging yourself to be the best you can be
- Collaborating with specialist teachers and Senior Leadership Team
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience teaching in secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge in one or more of the following: PE, Drama, Science, IT (other specialisms considered)
- Demonstrated ability to lead pastoral and house teams
- Effective communication, positive attitude, and commitment to CPD
