Position: NJC pt 8 – 14 (£23,071 – £25,407 per annum, actual salary paid). Duration: 37 hours per week, Term Time only. Start: As soon as possible.
We are looking to appoint a self‑motivated and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join our Academy and improve the social, emotional and mental well‑being of identified vulnerable students in order to increase their academic outcomes. The role will include working with students with special educational needs and also includes working with students who are hard to reach and may have difficulties with attendance.
Qualifications and Experience
- GCSE grade 4/C+ in a range of subjects including English and Maths
- Experience of working with the 11–16 age group
Responsibilities
- Support students with special educational needs and other pupils who are hard to reach.
- Help improve students’ social, emotional, and mental wellbeing to increase academic outcomes.
