We are seeking an organised and creative Science Technician who works well as part of a team and is committed to supporting students’ learning. The role involves providing technical support to the Science Faculty, assisting with maintenance duties, and offering first‑aid assistance to students under the direction of the Principal.

  • Annual salary: £14,187 – £14,636
  • Hours: 25 per week, Term Time Only
  • Start date: 01 September 2026

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for science laboratories and equipment.
  • Assist in planning and running science lessons and experiments.
  • Conduct routine maintenance of science facilities and equipment.
  • Record maintenance and safety incident reports.
  • Offer first‑aid assistance to students as required.

Qualifications

  • GCSE (or equivalent) grades C/4 in English and Mathematics.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of health & safety regulations.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
