We are seeking to appoint a responsible and competent Minibus Driver to support the Academy’s need in providing a safe service and journey for our students. If you enjoy working with young people and would like to help them prepare for their future working lives we would like to hear from you.
NJC Scale Point: 2 Actual salary: ÂŁ12.65 per hour plus ÂŁ1.53 holiday allowance. Casual, Term Time Only (approximate available hours will be between 10 to 20 hours per week).
Due to our increasing PAN and student numbers, we are excited to offer the opportunity to join our academy as our staff body continues to grow and support our larger year groups of 220 students. This is an exciting time to join our academy as we celebrate our Outstanding Academy Inspection in November 2023. Inspectors stated that Bristnall Hall Academy is a “truly inclusive and harmonious school” and that “everyone is proud to be part of a close‑knit school community that is working together with a common purpose.” Our staff “feel valued” and our classrooms “ooze enthusiasm and productivity.”
We are seeking to appoint a committed and reliable individual, with a real drive to enhance students’ experience of secondary education. The role will include routine safety checks on vehicles, maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles and ensuring the safe seating of passengers. The successful candidate will have a good basic level of education and hold a full clean driving licence with D1 or equivalent.
You will join an academy which is dynamic and inspiring, creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students. As a key member of the team, you will report any serious misbehaviour by students to the line manager and ensure good order and discipline on the vehicle. We are keen to secure a high calibre individual who can make a telling contribution to our team. The department is part of a well led, mutually supportive Learning Support team; there is a very strong commitment to improving standards. The appointed candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues and will be supported by a strong SLT.
