We are looking for a Fixed Term Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils at Caldmore Primary Academy. The role promotes pupil independence, self-esteem and social inclusion and supports pupils individually or in groups to access the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with class teachers to support pupils in achieving academic success.
  • Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.
  • Provide individual and group support to enable pupils to access the curriculum and experience achievement.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • GCSE level including English and Maths at grade C/4 or equivalent.
  • NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • First aid training or willingness to undertake it.

Position requires 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only), with a fixed term contract until 31 August 2027. Start date: As soon as possible.
