Overview

Iceni Primary Academy Hockwold is looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant. We welcome applications from outstanding individuals to join us at our engaging, primary academy.

Responsibilities

  • Assist children on an individual basis, in small groups and whole class work.
  • Support pupils’ learning and development in everyday classroom contexts.
  • Maintain organisation and keep the learning environment conducive to learning.
  • Work independently and proactively to meet the needs of pupils and staff.

Qualifications

  • Positive and committed individual with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with young people and children, understanding child development and learning needs.
  • Ability to relate well to visitors, staff, and students.
  • Commitment to diversity, equality and inclusion; willing to undertake an enhanced DBS criminal record check.
