About the Role
We are recruiting at Westbourne Academy to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Design & Technology or Food who can deliver high‑quality teaching to students in KS3 and KS4.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons in Design & Technology and Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Support and lead classroom and extra‑curricular programmes.
- Collaborate with colleagues and work within the teaching and learning team and senior leadership.
- Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the department’s forward‑thinking approach.
Qualifications & Experience
- Appropriate teaching qualification for Design & Technology or Food Technology.
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 subjects.
- ECTs are welcomed; foundational experience is acceptable.
- Commitment to safeguarding, welfare and safeguarding of children.
