We are searching for the best education professionals to join our trust. Are you passionate about making a difference to our children’s learning? Do you understand the importance of education? Pool Hayes Academy is looking to appoint an experienced and professional Level 3 Learning Support Assistant, with a real drive to enhance students’ experience of secondary education. The successful candidate will improve the social, emotional and mental wellbeing of identified vulnerable students in order to increase their academic outcomes.
Responsibilities- Work with students with special educational needs and those who are hard to reach, including students with difficulties with attendance.
- Deliver elements of the academic curriculum under guidance from subject leaders to enable students to achieve exam success.
- Hold GCSE level 4/C+ in a range of subjects including English and Maths.
- Hold a Level 3 teaching assistant qualification.
- Have previous experience of working with young people who are vulnerable or hard to reach.
