Design & Technology Technician

Term time only (39 weeks per year), 19 hours per week
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self‑motivated Design & Technology Technician to provide efficient and effective technical support to the school’s Design & Technology Department. The role involves preparing equipment and materials, supporting students and teaching staff with classroom practicals and demonstrations, and upholding the academy’s vision.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing equipment and materials for daily use.
- Assisting teachers and students during practical lessons.
- Maintaining workshop safety standards.
- Supporting the design and technology curriculum.
Qualifications and experience:
- Grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
- Willingness to complete additional training/qualifications as required.
- Previous experience in an educational setting desirable but not essential.
