Pool Hayes Academy is looking to appoint a Cleaning Operative on a permanent contract commencing as soon as possible.

NJC Scale Point: 3 Actual salary: £9,089 per annum
Hours: 15 Hours per week, 41 Weeks per annum

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake day to day cleaning and sanitisation of the building and facilities, ensuring Health & Safety compliance at all times.
  • Join a dynamic and inspiring academy, creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students.
  • Have previous experience in a similar environment with basic cleaning methods and the use of equipment.
  • Possess a good standard of literacy and numeracy and the ability to work on your own initiative and within a team.
  • Make a telling contribution to our team.

The department is part of a well led, mutually supportive Cleaning team. The appointed candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues and will be supported by a Catering Supervisor and strong SLT.
