Are you passionate about nurturing happy, safe, and joyful playtimes for primary-aged children? We are seeking two Midday Supervisors to join our warm and caring team at Newington Academy. If you are friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic, this could be the perfect chance to make a real difference during our pupils' favourite part of the day.
About the RoleAs a Midday Supervisor, you will:
- Oversee the safe and orderly movement of children to and from the dining hall.
- Supervise lunch and playtime, fostering positive behaviour and companionship.
- Promote kindness, respect, and inclusivity across the playground and hall.
- Identify and address hazards, ensuring breaktimes are safe and incident-free.
- Clean dining areas post-meal - clearing tables, benches, and spillages.
- Support lunchtime games and social interactions, building a happy school community.
- Report any concerns promptly to Senior Leadership, ensuring swift and responsible action.
You must have UK right to work to be considered for this role, as this vacancy is not eligible for sponsorship.
The rate of pay is NJC Scale Point 2 or the UK Voluntary Living Wage of £12.60 per hour, whichever is higher.
