A wonderful 2 Form Entry Primary School in Castle Point are seeking a qualified primary teacher who is either experienced in teaching KS2 or an ECT who is passionate about teaching in KS2 to teach in a Year 5 class from February 2026 (after half term) on a full time, long-term contract.

They are looking for a Year 5 Teacher who can develop the whole child and believes that each child is capable of success. As a school, they are all about developing the whole learner and not just solely focussed on core subjects.

This 2 Form Entry Primary School is based in a beautiful and modern building with specialist rooms for Art, PE, Computing and Music. There is also a large library, which is equipped for both children and staff.

The Senior Leadership team are extremely supportive and offer frequent training for all staff. They also offer tailored training depending on your experience. They are a primary school who want you to reach your full potential and to develop your weaknesses and push your strengths. If you are passionate about a particular subject or area then they want to develop that so you can provide that little more value to the school all whilst you drive your passion!

The ideal Year 5 teacher for this role will have experience teaching in KS2 either through employment or training. You must be passionate about teaching and have a willingness to learn. They are very open to ECTs as well as experienced teachers.
