Are you skilled in teaching Phonics and able to support your children who need to make progress ready for retaking the Phonics Screen in June next year? Are you skilled in teaching times tables as Year 3s gear up to do their timetables test in Year 4?

Do you have good behaviour management and organisational skills?

A great school in Halifax is looking for a highly motivated teacher to join their team on a full time basis in September to cover a maternity leave.

As a teacher with Academics, you will be teaching the full Year 3 curriculum, helping students reach their full potential and working with children with a range of needs and abilities.

Your responsibilities for being a Primary teacher covering maternity leave will include:

– co planning with the parallel class teacher

– marking and assessing

– good behaviour management

– managing support staff effectively
