Year 2 Primary Teaching Assistant – Aylesbury
A welcoming primary school in Aylesbury is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the learning and development of students in Year 2 within a friendly, supportive environment.
Position:The Teaching Assistant will support teachers in the planning, delivery, and assessment of learning activities for primary-aged pupils. Working closely with the class teacher and other staff, the successful candidate will help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that enables all children to thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with delivering lessons and supporting pupils both individually and in small groups
- Help prepare learning resources and support classroom management, including behaviour support
- Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress
