Academics are working with welcoming mainstream primary schools throughout Worksop who are seeking committed SEN Support Teaching Assistants to provide dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs. This temporary, ongoing supply role is ideal for candidates who enjoy supporting children to achieve both academically and personally.

As a SEN Support Teaching Assistant in Worksop, you will work on a 1:1 basis with pupils within mainstream primary schools, supporting children with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties. The SEN Support Teaching Assistant role focuses on helping pupils access learning, develop confidence and independence, and engage positively within the classroom while working closely with teachers and school SEN teams.

  • Deliver dedicated 1:1 support within mainstream classrooms
  • Assist pupils in accessing classroom activities
  • Support EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families
