Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored one-to-one and small-group assistance to pupils with Special Educational Needs to support their learning and engagement.
  • Support pupil progress, track progress, and contribute to a consistent daily routine within a single school setting.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to implement strategies that promote independence and participation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ideally within a school environment
  • Understanding of strategies to support learners with Autism (ASD), Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH), or learning difficulties
  • A patient, adaptable and positive approach, focused on encouraging independence and engagement
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply promptly)
