Are you currently working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or SEND Support Worker and looking for a role that offers greater variety and flexibility? Quantum Scholars is recruiting SEND Learning Support Assistants to support students accessing a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) and wider alternative provision services across Wokingham. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You will support students from a range of backgrounds who may have experienced difficulties in mainstream education. Some students will be based within a PRU setting, while others will require one-to-one tuition and support at home as they prepare to transition back into education.

  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Behavioural challenges
  • Trauma-related difficulties
  • Anxiety and emotionally based school avoidance
  • Medical needs
  • Additional learning needs

This role is particularly well suited to LSAs and TAs who enjoy working closely with students and would like a more varied role than a traditional classroom-based position. Opportunities are available from part-time hours through to full-time timetables.
