Quantum Scholars are working closely with a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Wokingham to recruit dedicated Maths Tutors to deliver 1:1, in-person tuition for secondary-aged pupils receiving alternative provision or Education Otherwise Than at School (EOTAS). This role involves supporting students who are currently outside of mainstream education, often due to additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH, behavioural challenges, or medical needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact, helping pupils rebuild confidence, strengthen their numeracy skills, and re-engage with education.

Tuition sessions typically take place in the pupil's home or a suitable community setting, and tutors are responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet individual needs.

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred but not essential

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Ability to travel within Wokingham and surrounding areas
