We are currently recruiting qualified and experienced Secondary tutors to deliver one-to-one and small-group tuition across Berkshire. There are immediate hours available, supporting secondary-aged pupils who require additional help in Maths, English and/or Science. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers, tutors, and education professionals seeking flexible, rewarding work that makes a genuine impact on young people's learning.
Please note: Applicants must have UK-based teaching or tutoring experience.
The Role
- Deliver tuition in Maths, English and/or Science
- Support secondary-aged pupils
- Sessions take place in schools, libraries, community venues, or pupils' homes
- Work with pupils who may be:
- Working below age-related expectations
- Out of mainstream education
- Preparing for GCSEs or other secondary-level assessments
The Ideal Candidate
- A qualified teacher, experienced tutor, or education professional with relevant UK experience
- Confident in delivering engaging, personalised tuition
- Able to build strong, positive relationships with young people
- Holds an Enhanced DBS (or is willing to obtain one)
- Availability during school hours preferred (after-school sessions may also be available)
