Salary: £34,397 - £52,489 per annum (MPS/UPS, depending on experience)

What You'll Be Doing

  • Teach Chemistry and/or Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to explore and question the world around them.

  • Use effective assessment and feedback to support progress and achievement for all learners.
  • Contribute to the continued development of an ambitious and knowledge-rich Science curriculum.
  • Play an active role in the wider school community through enrichment, clubs, and collaborative planning.

About You

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has a strong subject background in Chemistry and/or Physics.
  • Is passionate about engaging young people in the sciences and fostering critical, independent thinking.
  • Has excellent classroom management and a reflective, research-informed approach to teaching.
  • Works collaboratively with colleagues and contributes positively to a supportive team culture.
