We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Witham that is seeking an enthusiastic and committed MFL Teacher to join their successful Languages department. The school is dedicated to delivering high-quality language education and encouraging students to become confident communicators with a broader understanding of the world around them.

Job Overview
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday MFL Teacher role.
  • Teach Modern Foreign Languages across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential Key Stage 5 opportunities for suitable candidates).
  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons that inspire a love of language learning.
  • Develop students' speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
  • Monitor, assess and track student progress to ensure strong academic outcomes.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
  • Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Languages department and across the wider school community.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities, including language clubs, cultural events and educational visits.

What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching French, Spanish or another Modern Foreign Language at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for language learning.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • The ability to engage, motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
  • A proactive, positive and collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
