An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated EYFS SEND Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive and nurturing specialist educational setting in Wickford. This permanent role involves supporting young children within the Early Years Foundation Stage who have a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping pupils access learning, develop communication and social skills, and achieve their individual developmental targets within a caring and structured environment.
The Role
- Support children with SEND on a one-to-one and small group basis
- Assist in delivering engaging learning activities tailored to individual needs
- Encourage communication, social interaction and emotional development
- Work closely with teaching staff to implement personalised learning strategies

- Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teaching staff
