The Role
Providing classroom cover across Welsh-medium primary and secondary schools in Cardiff. Supporting pupils with their learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment. Following lesson plans and ensuring pupils remain engaged with their work. Managing classroom behaviour and supporting the smooth running of lessons. Working flexibly across different schools on an ad-hoc basis. We're Looking For Fluency in Welsh is essential. Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor. Confidence supporting pupils and managing classroom behaviour. A flexible, reliable and adaptable approach to work. A genuine interest in supporting pupils within Welsh-medium education.
Requirements
Enhanced DBS certificate. Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC). Pay & Benefits £120 per day for Cover Supervisor roles. Flexible, ad-hoc work to fit around your availability.
