Are you a Psychology Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant in Flitwick looking to gain invaluable experience supporting children with additional needs?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming primary school in Flitwick as a Psychology Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, where you'll make a genuine difference to the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and speech and language needs. Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), speech and language needs, and additional learning needs.
  • Deliver tailored one-to-one and small group interventions.
  • Assist teachers in preparing engaging lessons and learning resources.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
  • Encourage pupils' emotional, social, and academic development.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children, staff, and families.
  • Help pupils develop confidence, independence, and resilience.

What We're Looking For:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related subject.
  • Previous experience working with children or within an SEN setting (preferred but not essential).
  • Knowledge or experience supporting children with ASD and speech and language needs (desirable).
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive attitude and genuine passion for helping children succeed.
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a willingness to learn.
