Academics are currently looking for a Teaching assistant to work in schools around the Telford area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about education to support students across a variety of subjects, whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant, Mentor, Support worker or Learning Support Assistant this could be the perfect next step in your career.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Support teachers with the delivery of the lesson
- Ensure all equipment is out and ready for the class
- Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Help students engage with learning to achieve their goals
Requirements:
- Experience within UK secondary schools.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- The right to work in the UK.
