In this role, you will work closely with children and young people who face a range of social, emotional, and mental health challenges, including SEMH, anxiety, trauma, ASD, ADHD, and behavioural needs.
This position will provide invaluable practical experience supporting vulnerable students, helping you develop the skills and knowledge required for a future career within mental health and psychology-related professions. Job Role:- Providing 1:1 support and working with small groups of students to promote emotional wellbeing and engagement in learning.

- Building positive relationships with students and acting as a trusted role model within the school environment.
- Assisting students in developing emotional regulation, coping strategies, resilience, and social skills.
- Supporting behaviour management strategies and promoting a positive learning environment.
- Working alongside teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure students receive appropriate support.
- A Psychology degree or related degree is desirable.
- A genuine interest in mental health, wellbeing, and supporting young people.
- Availability to work during school hours.
- A proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach.
- Patience, resilience, and strong communication skills.
- Excellent experience for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Counsellors, Therapists, and Mental Health Practitioners.
