Academics are currently looking for experienced Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming, supportive and well-established primary schools in the Great Sankey and wider Warrington area.
This is a great opportunity for a Teaching Assistant looking for flexible day-to-day supply work, with the potential for short-term and longer-term placements as opportunities arise.
The Role
- Supporting teachers with the delivery of engaging classroom activities
- Providing additional support to pupils with their learning and development
- Working across different year groups and primary school settings
- Supporting pupils both within the classroom and in smaller groups where required
- Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Adapting to different school environments and classroom needs
- Opportunities for day-to-day, short-term and longer-term assignments
The Ideal Candidate
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred
- Previous experience working within a primary school or education setting
- An Enhanced DBS for child workforce or willingness to obtain one
- Confident, reliable and adaptable
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Passionate about supporting children's learning and development
- Flexible and available for day-to-day supply work
Academics work with a variety of friendly, inclusive and nurturing primary schools, giving you the opportunity to gain experience across different settings while finding work that suits your availability.
Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
