A specialist SEN school in Walton-on-Thames is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with special educational needs within a supportive and inclusive environment.
Working Hours:
- Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 8:30am - 4:00pm
- Wednesday: 8:30am - 4:15pm (CPD included)
- Friday: 8:30am - 2:30pm
The Role:
- Support teaching and learning across the school
- Deliver interventions and small group activities
- Work closely with teachers and support staff
- Help provide a positive and engaging learning environment
- Support pupils with a range of additional needs
Location: Walton-on-Thames
Requirements:
- Have Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) experience or hold a recognised Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification
- Have experience working within an SEN setting
- Hold an enhanced DBS check or be willing to obtain one
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Be able to commute to Walton-on-Thames
