We are currently looking for qualified teachers and experienced tutors to support primary and secondary-aged learners across the London Borough of Hillingdon area through 1:1 and small-group tuition. This provision supports young people who are currently outside of mainstream education, including those accessing EOTAS pathways, as well as pupils with SEND and/or SEMH needs. Demand for tutors is currently high, with referrals continuing to increase throughout the academic year and into September.
Please note: applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available.
What the Role Involves- Delivering tuition in core subjects including English, Maths, and Science
- Supporting both primary and secondary-aged learners
- Sessions take place during school hours, therefore daytime availability is essential!
- Working with pupils with SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD, and school avoidance
- Delivering sessions in homes, schools, community settings, or online
- Flexible opportunities available, with many referrals offering up to 5 days per week (approx. 3 hours per day)
- QTS / QTLS or significant tutoring experience
- Experience working with SEND, EOTAS, or alternative provision learners is desirable
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Strong understanding of safeguarding
- Ability to travel locally within the Hillingdon area
- Ideally, candidates should hold a degree in the subject area they are applying to tutor.
