Location: West London

Hours: 40 hours per week, term time, plus 120 additional hours across the year and staff training days

Salary: NJC Grade 10-11 (Scale Points 33-39) - £46,161.01 - £52,259.01 actual per annum

The Role

We are seeking a motivated and innovative Band 7 Speech & Language Therapist to join our friendly and supportive Therapy Team. Working within a specialist educational setting, you will deliver evidence-based interventions that promote communication, independence and functional skills for children and young people with complex needs. You will provide assessment, treatment planning and therapy across areas including speech, language, social communication, feeding and Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC), while working collaboratively with teachers and the wider multidisciplinary team to embed therapy into everyday learning.

About You

  • HCPC registration and Band 7 Speech & Language Therapy experience.
  • Experience assessing, planning and delivering evidence-based interventions.
  • Knowledge of AAC, speech, language, social communication and feeding interventions.
  • Excellent multidisciplinary working and communication skills.
  • Confidence working independently while supporting colleagues and teaching staff.
  • A positive, flexible and child-centred approach with a passion for improving outcomes for young people.
