Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity in secondary schools across the Wirral area? This role is ideal for university students looking for money whilst they study or people retiring that don't want to retire fully.

Academics is currently looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor/ Unqualified Teacher to work within our client secondary schools in Wirral and the surrounding areas on a supply basis. This can be as flexible as you need or want it to be!

As a Cover Supervisor/ Unqualified Teacher you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity in the classroom, ensuring that students receive the best possible learning experience during their teachers' absences.

Main Classroom Supervisor/ Unqualified Teacher responsibilities:
  • Supervising secondary school students in the absence of the regular class teacher
  • Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring a productive learning environment
  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive and respectful atmosphere
  • Adhering to school policies and procedures
  • Making sure the students stay on task
What you will need to work as a Classroom Supervisor/ Unqualified Teacher with Academics:
  • Previous experience supporting children and/or young adults is desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to different school environments
  • Enhanced DBS certificate registered to the update service, or be willing to get one
  • To be based in Wirral or surrounding areas
