Start date: Flexible
Pay: £135 to £200 per day (dependent upon experience, training, qualifications)
Academics are currently seeking an English Teacher to join a high achieving secondary school in Tonbridge. If you have a love for teaching English and have the ability to engage students in English lessons, we want to hear from you!
Role Overview
- Deliver high-quality English lessons up to KS5
- Plan and create engaging, curriculum led lessons
- Encourage an interest of reading, writing, and communication
- Monitor student progress and support academic development
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
- Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom control
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
