A wonderfully led and resourced Primary School in Stanford-le-Hope are seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to join them after the February half-term on a full-time basis to work with children who have additional needs and need additional nurturing and support to make their school experience as positive as possible!

- £88-£100 per day (DOE)
- Term Time Only (Monday - Friday 8:30am-3:30pm)

This primary school is located in Stanford-le-Hope with excellent transport links. There is also a staff car park for those who drive.
The primary school is seeking a Teaching Assistant that has a fantastic willingness to learn and a real desire to work with children with additional needs/SEN. They can offer excellent training and support regardless of your experience. As long as you are passionate and have a drive to make a difference, this primary school will support you.
For this Teaching Assistant role, the primary school is open to graduates as well as experienced Teaching Assistants. Experience of supporting any of the following needs would be an advantage:
- ADHD
- Autism (ASD)
- Asperger Syndrome
- Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH)
- Global Delay
- Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
- Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
- Challenging Behaviour
The Ideal Teaching Assistant Would:
- Have a genuine passion for working with children with SEN
- Be driven to improve the education and life chances of children and young people
- Be able to support pupils 1:1 and in small groups
- Be a positive role model and offer encouragement & promote confidence
- Assist with planning of activities with class teacher & SENCO
- Help with general class teaching assistant duties
