An amazing specialist school in Maidenhead is looking for a Therapy Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis starting ASAP!

The school employs a therapeutic and child-based approach to their everyday school life and is focused on ensuring a safe and positive environment for their students. The students who attend this setting are between the ages of 4 and 16. They all have a primary diagnosis of Autism and struggle with co-existing needs such as struggles with their speech and language development, communication, behaviour, and social and emotional needs.

This school has also adopted a therapeutic intervention support system - which they provide full training for - in which you will work with the students every day in the classroom. The role is primarily 1:1 based, giving you the chance to provide the necessary support and attention.

The school is seeking a Therapy Assistant who can bring a calm and positive approach to the classroom, who will support and encourage the students day to day to help them reach their goals and targets.
