About the Role

You will be joining a new ARP unit that is in its early stages, giving you the chance to make a real impact from the ground up. The role involves working with children with additional needs within a specialist resource provision, supported by the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver tailored, engaging lessons to meet the diverse needs of children within the ARP
  • Create a nurturing and structured environment that supports pupils with additional needs
  • Help shape and develop the provision as it grows, contributing to its long-term vision
  • Assess, track and support pupil progress in line with EHCP outcomes
  • Work closely with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure each child reaches their potential
  • Collaborate with the mainstream school to promote inclusion where appropriate
