About the Role
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will work in a variety of primary, secondary, and SEND schools across the local area. You\’ll provide essential classroom support to teachers and pupils, helping to create a positive, engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils with their learning, individually and in small groups
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and behaviour management
- Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs (where required)
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere
About You
- Previous experience working with children (in a school or similar setting)
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners
- Flexible, reliable, and confident working in new environments
- A TA qualification or relevant experience is desirable
