We are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant with Special Educational Needs experience to join the team at a SEN school in Bristol. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support students with various needs in a nurturing environment.

£83.33 - £96.15 per day, depending on experience

Full-time, Monday - Friday 8.30am to 4pm

Term time only

Bristol - BS14 (Whitchurch / Stockwood area)

As a Teaching Assistant within a SEN school, you will provide vital support to students, helping them engage with their learning and develop their social skills. You will work closely with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive atmosphere that promotes the well-being of every child.

About the role
  • Assist students with their learning activities and personal care needs.
  • Support the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with educators to adapt resources and strategies.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging environment within the classroom.
The right candidate
  • Maths and English at GCSE - Minimum grade 4/C
  • Experience supporting children with special educational needs - for example personal experience with a family member, youth work, support work, mental health work or SEN in sport
  • DBS Check required (We can assist with this).
