Your day to day as a Teaching assistant will look like:

* Your main responsibility as a Teaching Assistant will be to support the class teacher with the general running of the class room.
* This will be helping with lesson planning, gathering and setting up for lessons, helping to keep the classroom presentable and safe as well and helping manage general classroom behaviour.
* This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience working in the classroom and being exposed to qualified teachers who have been through the training and qualifying process.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will be:

* The ideal teaching assistant will have a fun and enthusiastic attitude and be able to help engage the children.
* You should be calm and compassionate and be able to adapt your approach to match the needs of the different children, as some children will have additional needs in the classroom and thus EHCP’s (Educational Health Care Plans).
* You must understand the importance of safeguarding and have an enhanced DBS certificate. If you do not have one, we can support your application.
* Individuals who are aspiring teachers are encouraged to apply. This is a great opportunity to add valuable classroom experience to your CV.
