A primary school in Bath has recently opened a resource unit for children with SEN and is looking for a Psychology/Criminology (or similar degree) graduate to work as a SEN Teaching Assistant supporting children with complex needs, Autism, and Learning Disabilities. Candidates with relevant SEN experience will also be considered.
The SEN children are aged 3 to 11 and require consistent, ongoing support to ensure they receive high-quality, child-centered care. Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential. Graduates in related fields will also be considered.
You will work in a small class of 12 SEN children alongside therapists, psychologists, teachers, and support staff. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside on-site therapists and psychologists. You will be mentored, shadow sessions, and learn from professionals.
