The Catholic Partnership Supply Service (CPSS) are looking to appoint a talented teaching assistant in the Rednal area of Birmingham to start ASAP, working 5 full days per week. This is a long term supply post for at least 1 term. This role is a general TA support role in KS2, based in year 5. You will be tasked to encourage engagement in the classroom, identify when the pupils require intervention and a change of activity to manage potential challenging behaviour, support with speech and language, and provide general academic support.

CPSS have an outstanding track record of helping teaching assistants launch or relaunch their careers. We work with newly qualified teaching assistants and teaching assistants in between jobs.

Qualifications we will consider:

  • Teaching assistant related (level 2+)
  • University graduates
  • Childcare related (level 2+)
  • Health and social care related (with either school experience or basic knowledge of phonics)
  • Unqualified teaching assistants with classroom experience
