An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a KS2 Teaching Assistant on a temporary basis, alongside a hard-working, upper KS2 class. The school is located on the outskirts of Stafford, in the South of Staffordshire. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work as a KS2 Teaching Assistant, alongside an established Teacher within a KS2 class. The class is well behaved and diligent; however, it includes a handful of pupils with SEN, and therefore requires a KS2 Teaching Assistant who is confident in delivering effective, inclusive support.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with staff and parents.
- Support the class teacher with learning, reading and group activities.
Requirements:
- Must have experience supporting an upper KS2 class (experience is desirable).
- Obtains a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Certificate (minimum).
- Is patient, caring and reliable.
- Comfortable in supporting SEN pupils within the classroom.
- Enhanced DBS.
- Available to start ASAP.
- Fully registered to work with Academics.
- Happy to commute to Stafford.
Pay: £90 - £100 a day (dependent upon experience). Holiday pay is included on day rate.
