About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers to support the delivery of high-quality education. Your role will be pivotal in assisting students' academic progress, helping to manage classroom activities, and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting classroom teachers with lesson preparation and delivery
- Assisting individual students or small groups with learning activities
- Helping to manage student behaviour and ensure a safe, productive classroom atmosphere
- Providing administrative support such as marking, record-keeping, and resource management
- Encouraging and motivating students to achieve their full potential
- Supporting students with additional learning needs or disabilities
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience or strong interest in education and child development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for working with young people
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow guidance from teaching staff
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE, NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are advantageous but not essential
