A Special Needs School situated just outside of Devizes is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Teacher to join their team in a full-time position starting September 2026. The special school caters for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs from 5 to 18. Some students have other diagnoses, such as Autism, but SEMH is the main provision.

The school is therefore seeking a teacher who has SEMH experience and is confident working with students with complex needs and behavioural challenges. The ideal teacher will be kind, patient and supportive and have an excellent understanding of SEMH. You will need to be able to engage the pupils and build a strong relationship of trust with them. You will need to be able to motivate them and foster a love of learning for each pupil in your class.

There are also TLR opportunities for the right teacher.
