Are you a Primary ECT interested in gaining some hands-on experience before jumping straight into a class of your own? Do you want to gain some experience in a variety of different schools and year groups to find the school and class for you? We are a supportive and established teaching supply agency currently recruiting for enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Early Career Teachers (ECT's) to join us for the upcoming academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity for Primary ECT's to build confidence, knowledge and expertise while gaining valuable classroom experience with the opportunity of exploring local primary schools! Whether you're looking to ease into your career or explore a variety of different schools before committing to a permanent role, supply teaching can offer the perfect pathway for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and enriching lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom environments, year groups, and school expectations
  • Maintain strong classroom management and create a positive learning environment
  • Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and behaviour management
  • Mark and assess pupils' work where required, providing constructive feedback
  • Build positive relationships quickly with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Uphold a professional and reliable approach in all placements
  • Be willing to teach across a range of year groups in varying Key Stages, as an agency we will always take on board your year group preferences

What we're looking for:

  • Qualified Primary ECTs (or those due to qualify by Summer 2026)
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Feels confident in holding full class responsibilities and be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons if required during a long-term cover role
  • Is flexible, reliable, and willing to work in different school settings
  • Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to obtain one)
  • Can provide two recent professional references
  • Is able to commute to a variety of schools in Stafford / Stone and Penkridge
  • Is fully registered (or willing to register) with Academics

Pay: £130 - £160 per day, depending on experience. Holiday pay is included in the daily rate.
