A mixed gender public secondary school is seeking an enthusiastic and intuitive maths teacher to join their team in September.

The school is located in a lovely rural area with a great catchment and is accessible by car from Horsham and Chichester.

Your responsibilities as a maths teacher will include

  • Preparing lessons in line with the curriculum for Maths

  • Marking and providing clear and concise feedback on completed work in a timely fashion
  • Effective management of classroom behaviour and keeping a positive learning atmosphere

Key requirements of a maths teacher include

  • DBS - In date, with no reprimands which prohibit working with children
  • Relevant qualifications - a degree along with relevant teaching qualifications (ie PGCE) * QTS is desirable - NQT applications are warmly welcomed
  • Experience of teaching Maths is essential
