Academics is recruiting enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Walton-on-Thames on an ad-hoc, short-term and temporary basis.

* Competitive pay of £92.56 to £95.00 per day (inclusive of holiday pay), dependent upon experience, qualifications, training and client pay rate available.

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support teachers with classroom management and pupil engagement.
* Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils.
* Assist pupils with their learning and development.
* Help create a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment.
* Adapt confidently to different primary school settings.
* Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* Previous experience working with children or within an educational setting is desirable.
* A CACHE or NVQ Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning is preferred but not essential.
* An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
* Flexibility to work across different primary schools in and around Retford.
* A commitment to safeguarding and completing annual safeguarding training.
* The right to work in the UK.
