About the Role:

Supply Supervisors are essential to the smooth running of schools, stepping in for absent teachers and ensuring continuity in the classroom. As a Supply Supervisor, you will supervise pre-assigned lessons, manage classroom behavior, and maintain a productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities of a Supply Supervisor:

* Supervise pre-assigned lessons in the absence of regular teachers.
* Establish rapport quickly with students.
* Implement effective behavior management strategies in line with school policies.
* Be flexible to cover various subjects across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
* Ensure students remain on task and complete assigned work.

Requirements to be a Supply Supervisor:

* Hold a UK recognized degree or have relevant experience in a similar role.
* Have the right to work in the UK.
* Possess a valid enhanced DBS check (preferably issued within the last year or on the update service). If you don\’t have a DBS, we can help with the application process.
* Be local to, or willing to travel to Portsmouth.
