Quantum Scholars are currently working with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in South West London to recruit a Supply MFL Teacher to join their team from after the May half-term until the end of the school year. The school is seeking a passionate and dedicated French and Spanish Teacher who is confident teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The ideal candidate will be ambitious for young people and committed to supporting their progress, attainment, and love of languages.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality French and Spanish lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with curriculum requirements
  • Support student progress through effective feedback and assessment
  • Maintain positive behaviour for learning in the classroom
  • Contribute to the wider school community as required
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
  • Work collaboratively with department staff to share resources and best practice

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching French and Spanish at KS3 and KS4 level
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective language lessons
  • A passion for modern foreign languages and inspiring young learners
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Available to start after May half-term
